Today on my Blog, I will identify and discuss some of the major benefits and value levers associated with implementing enterprise 2.0 technologies in Woolworths. But before starting I would like to talk about the evolution of social technologies in our modern life. Even more, it has captured the imagination of consumers, business leaders and politicians. The Woolworths app is optimised for iPad, iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S and Android 2.2 and above. The benefit of implementing this social technology on mobile devices helped a lot of customers to check and compare local fuel prices by checking their local CALTEX fuel outlet, know which fresh foods are at their best each season by finding out the latest news from their fresh food experts and shopping straight from your phone by sending your shopping list to their online store in an instant-simply and safely.

  1. Great introduction on Woolworths mobile app. Mobile devices surely do change the way people shop. I wonder if the application allows people to view what's hot in store or what is purchased by friends when linked to facebook. Or maybe a comment bulletin board on the checked-in store perhaps. Great work once again

Yeah I am agree with you, it change the way people shop, before I did not give an attention to try to buy through this app. also, what could this app provide, until I found out it by start using this app, it really helped me a lot to check the availability of the product that I want to buy before I go to the store. It's a great technology for helping customer for not wasting their time. In regarding to your question, I'm not really sure if they have provided this option recently but as far I know when I checked their website, this option is not been provided yet.
